Before I begin, I think it’s important to recognize that today is the 10th anniversary of 9/11. I’m never too good with my words when talking about something of this magnitude and devastation, so I thought I’d link to a beautifully sad story about John and Joe, put together by Story Corps. Yesterday, I hung out with my two besties (Melody in the stripes) in Old Town Pasadena. We stopped by Intelligentsia Coffee, where their mission is to not only provide outstanding coffee and tea, but to also do it through direct trade. Social consciousness is the way to go! We ordered delicious lattes and enjoyed it in the cafe. I seriously love the space, which is accented by the lighting and giant mirror. :)
For our shopping, we all scored new clothes from L.A. based Veronica M. I bought two mid-sleeve tops with 70s inspired prints for $10 each. What a sale! I love that they have classic cuts and can go with pants or skirts, for work or play. <3
